The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers to the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering solutions such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency claimed it is alarmed with regard to the higher variety of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The aim of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some significant range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often a result of the lack of infrastructure sassa status at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office dedicated to service the area on a daily basis. The service point made for intervention encounters a high inflow of possible beneficiaries, that makes it tricky to the office to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra sources to permit the servicing of all prospects and improve usage of Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
